Employee Gift Matching Program

Community involvement is an important value at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. Through the Employee Gift Matching Program, we encourage our employees to contribute personally to nonprofit organizations.

Who May Give

Employees who are designated as United Way Fair Share contributors with a minimum of 12 consecutive months of service at BCBSNE

Who May Receive

Educational and other non-profit organizations that are certified as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501 (c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code are eligible to receive the match.

Matching Procedures

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska will match donations of $25 or more, up to a maximum of $1,000 per employee each calendar year.

Employees who qualify to participate in the program simply print and complete Part A of the BCBSNE #8963 Gift Matching Form and send it, along with their personal contribution, to the qualifying organization. The organization then completes Part B and mails it back to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska for processing. You may contact Community Relations if you have questions regarding this program.
